Default Preferred clutch disengagement/engagement

Of the three common ways to operate a clutch, Cable, Hydraulic or Hard Linkage, what is the preferred method with a cobra. I have a weekend driver type car with 475 to 500 HP, I am an old school drag racer but those days are gone, I see alot of hydraulic clutches, but I worry about reliability and feel. I am also new to the cobra scene and am a new owner of a B&B car. I have a cable style now, are there any problems I should know about if I were to convert to the other two styles, Thanks, Lou
