One big issue I have is how the crowd reacts. They want to see wrecks.
That really bothers me. I was pulling duty of corner flags at a race one weekend, and find a couple of young 20 year olds participating just so they can watch the cars spin and wreck. I've never been to a NASCAR event, but I understand a big percentage of the spectators are there for the pile ups. Everyone wants to see a train wreck. That just makes my stomach hurt........
(Then again, I never did like "I Love Lucy". The ultimate train wreck)
