After some ideas on how people have attached their side pipe shields.

I saw a bandclamp somewhere with metal lugs that are tapped, that simply tightens onto the main tube of your sidepipe and then your shields bolt onto the lugs, thereby leaving an airgap the width of the lug.

Does that ring any bells with anyone, and if so, can you remember where you saw or got them.
