The school was an Advanced Road Racing 2 day school run by Panoz. We used the race series Gt cars powered by a 4.6L Ford Cobra engine.
Couple of the older instructors did comment about the back straight prior to turn 10A & B installed. Quite a hair raising experience I'm sure. My gut and butt still pucker every time I think of the leap of faith required as you come up through 11 as you described it. Also, the off camber road and narrowing of the straight at turn 12.
I often use that same quote. It is definetly true.
