FIRST time I have seen one of your posts that was wrong! At least partly. I was asked to leave CR'S when Excalibur was started. BUT they were not doing kits, exclusively Turnkeys. At that time they were DOT approved. When they did shut down or start to shut down they did sell the remaining cars as kits.

The post by flyboy is right on. When they DOT called/required extra cars for crash tests is when X decided to back out of the business.
