You know the tort reform issue sounded pretty bi-partisan to me, especially considering the response it got from both sides of the isle. But if you want to make it a partisan issue, well OK then...

The Redubs had eight years to "milk it", as you say. What we got? Same old thing, status quo, do nothing, yell names, talk $hit, be negative, no leadership, stuck in the mudd and spinning their wheels.

Reform IS going to happen, with or without them. It will most likely be without them because they STILL don't have basic leadership of their own party! Consider the "spokes persons". Glenn Beck maybe? A sensationislistc, headline grabbing "shock jock"? An interesting character but hardly a guy you want leading your party! How about Limbaugh? Basically the same thing, perhaps a tad more intelligent. Still, the primary focus being radicalizing the issues to increase ratings. These guys make for great sound bites, but they're not helping build a solid party platform. It's a house built on sand my friend, it cannot stand. The party itself is in need of reform from within.
