Anyone who listened/watched the"speech" last night that is not embarrassed, worried, disappointed, or depressed is still deluding themself about how this country is being and has been governed. This speech was about making wholesale changes to 1/6 of our economy. It looked and sounded like a high school pep rally. Yea for giving the masses what they want. Boo for the insurance companies. Yea for forcing coverage for pre-existing conditions. Boo for the Bush deficit.
I am embarrassed, worried and depressed, not disappointed because I have come to expect this juvenile behavior.
If there is no intent to requiring change to what most of us have (repeated several times)
why is it called "Comprehensive" health care reform? Passed in any form close to what was described, this bill will change us all, maybe permanently.
As all of the other nations that have tried & found out, if we make as our goal that everyone gets all the health care that they want you either have to forceably ration care or you will run out of money. & pretty quickly too!
Life isn't fair - we need to stop trying to make it so.
