Just a few years ago, I had a 540 built for my '66 Corvette Convertible, so a 482 sounded a little puny to me. Still does.

527 does sound better. When someone asks, "Does it have a 427 in it?", you can say "No, a 527" and sound like a smart a$$ and not be lying.
