Take your distributor rotor off when you park it
On my old 94 Mustang I had a fuel pump kill switch hidden in the bracing of the trunk lid. It's MUCH easier to disable an old tech car than a modern one.
I'd be more worried about someone towing the thing than trying to hotwire it.
If it's cold, they have to follow the 'ritual' to start it anyways
