Maybe one reason that a lot of people swapped them out back in the day.

Ofdset/widths on Sunbursts are the same, keep in mind that there are effectively THREE different rear fender styles so a Sunburst on an S/C would look lost. The "narrow hip" cars look "right" with the 'Burst, a wide hipper or comp car-S/C looks "goofy".
