Steve, I had a workmate that had a Triumph Stag so I know a little about the Rover V8. It was a great sounding engine (beats the hell out of a V6). If the Feirro is made in Birmingham you might find that some of the bits are made out a Chicken-tikka masala balti or possibly nan bread

. I don't know what the torque specs are for balti bolts and nuts. Just kidding of course. I drive a Classic Roadster II. They went out of business a couple of years ago and their follow-up is pretty miserable

. Everyone is right about the colour. Whomever painted it knew what they were doing. If you can get some more pics posted in your user section it would be great. My wife and I will be in Birmingham the last of October. Going to stay with some friends for a couple of days on our way back from Faro.
