John - glad you hung in there while I was trying to get you out on the track for the Cobra laps. We cut it pretty close! From the looks of it, the group got a couple of pretty fast laps of the course.

Mark IV (Rick) - glad I finally got a chance to meet you. Wish you the best of luck as our SPF dealer in Buffalo, NY. The SPF GT40 you had on display certainly attracted a lot of attention! I was hoping to hear a couple of Cobra stories from you, but you were certainly busy with customers. Glad to see it, and hope it turns into future sales or service.

Dennis Olthoff made a fine showing in the SVRA races with the SPF GT40R. Interesting to hear that the GT40R car is eligible for HSR and SVRA racing, and can be ordered to fit either or both sets of rules. I also understaind that with just a few modifications (change brakes from Wilwood back to Girling, and some other minor items), the car is eligible for FIA racing. It is a beautiful car, and still very competitive in it's class.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet any other CC members at the track or downtown. Hopefully next year! Make your plans now :-)
