I went thorught this in May. Like some people have mentioned, you want a pcv anyway, so just put one on. I have one on my 351w. SB100 as the referee expalined it to me, allows you to be compliant with a new car, that was built to replicate a car from history. That being said, sb100, allows you to use 1965 smog standards, as that is the body style you are replicating. He also noticed that my engine was a 1969 vintage windsor, so I had the choice of 1965 or 1969 standards. The only emission device required for smog in 1965 was pcv. TAC (thermostatic air cleaners) and other stuff did not come into play until years later. Hope this helps.
