That's your opinion, mine differs significantly. To date, I think he is doing a fine job under extraordinary conditions he inherited with the office.

Only a few are playing the race card? Like Clinton, Carter, NEA, the entire liberal Hollywood crowd, Teachers Unions, SEIU, Moveon.org., Democrat Senators and Representatives, and Pelosi et. al. Those few?

And your inability to see and realize his long list of foul ups does not mean they are not happening. Those losing faith and respect for him the fastest now ARE liberals. Independents and Conservatives NEVER had faith in him. WE had hopes, but he squelched hope long ago with his Socio-Commie outlook for America. Now, finally, the less sheepish liberals are seeing him as a failed dream.

"conditions he inherited with the office."

Obama will be long dead from old age and you will still be blaming Bush!
If all was hunky-dory, a Republican, other than McCain, would be President. Please remember at election time, that the ONLY body with a LOWER approval rating than Bush's was the DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS. And it was about HALF Bush's abysmally low rate. Obama was elected for Hope and Change.
Turns out the CHANGE is that he IGNORES the Constitution and other laws MORE than Bush did and he recklessly spends at a rate more than twice the outrageous rate that Bush did.
And the HOPE has become that he is only a single termer.
