Some great stories here. Russia is another place that has a hole in the floor.
Big country I know but I ran into a couple of places like that.

Eastern europe seems to favor the shelf toilets (you never get splashed)
but never had any with hot water. Had one place with no water and some old
woman cleaned them out periodically I'm guessing. The paper has been getting better, when available. Several countries I visited you could be whizzing in the urinal when a wahine would come wandering out of the toilet
stall. Still wonder what would happen if I had gone into the women's room.
In America I could still be in jail but over there probably no big deal.

Buzz - you nearly had me on the floor with that story. On occasion when I was feeling good I have left a token in an elevator - but doubt if I ever
accomplished what you did.
