I just picked up a C6ME (.040 over) short block with TRW forged pistons and 427 rods. I've begun to take it apart and check clearances, etc. but I am concerned about the used 427 rods. I plan on a mild build using Edelbrock Performer parts with torque in mind (I plan to have Blue Oval build the heads and spec the cam and carb). Gary, when is the Colorado Cobra Club meeting again? - I would like to get together and compare notes. Mike, I forget where you live,
