Fit and finish can be all over place. Shelby spent a lot of time on fiberglass body so it would be true shape. Alum bodys furnished by A.C., Kirkham, are very good, I don't like Kemper, Leahy, Kimmins bodys because of shape. Just to flat at top of dash and behind seats, does not bow up as much. Lets face it we all like for our cars to be as close as possible to early cars. We want ford motors even if chevy motors cost less per hp. than ford. Some want Shelby to sign dash . The closer to shelby specs the car is adds value some would say. Some of shelbys dealers were or are better than others. The price of Shelby cars seem to vary more than others, looks like a fair price for alum car.
