Once again nothing but distortions. Republicans have had a solution all along. It's called take care of it through the private sector. My daughter AND her husband lost their jobs a year ago. I paid $449 a month for Cobra for her until the program kicked in and then it went down to $149. That expires this month and it goes back up. After their unemployment ran out I've been paying their house payment and utilities. At least this way the money I'm paying goes straight to them instead of being stripped of one third by a bloated federal bureaucracy that will take that third and spend it somewhere else. I get no credits on my taxes for doing this and can't even claim them as dependents. So if you're so much in favor of this how about sending me some money and pitching in the right way. Through the private sector. Or are you only happy when you have your hand in someone else's pocket. Democrats even rob the dead.
