Once the weight balance, alignment, heavier springs and better shock are added, your car will be as good as the new vettes. Get a road race seat that bolts into the floor and talk to ERA about there Fia, left door cage protection. The hoop is 3" higher than your helmet in the car. You are in a 5 point cage and the body is not cut. You do have to step into the car. Bob does some great engineering of safety ideas for the car. To me the race seat is the biggest thing, you don't have to hold your body in the stock seat.
The nice thing about the ERA car is changing the front shocks an springs only take about 15 minutes and the car goes from road track car to street car.
