Default Wrong Direction Brake Rotors (unless going backwards)

I'm at the car show in Virginia Beach, VA it is similar to the SEMA show in vegas just ~150 cars, and 3 vendors TOTAL. ...I guess I need to drive to other areas...

So I'm looking at some of these one-off full resto's with no bug's splattered on them, custom floor lights and mirrors on the floor to show that it has never been through any dirt and the closest it got to a water puddle was the mark left behind from a water bottle when the guy that was paid to detail the car took a sip. ...I regress...

On at least 4 different vehicles the rotors, which were easy to see with the +20" rims, were on the wrong side. The air was being pulled from the outside to the inside. Realize there was only ~10 vehicles that had vented cross drilled rotors. To me this is a large percent of error. Which leads me to a question: Has anyone ever seen a vented rotor that was designed to pull air from the outer rim to the hub side?
