During any pro sports playoffs, only the teams that make the playoffs, continue to play. Everyone else is "eliminated". This whole idea of a chase is rediculous because 43 cars continue to be on the track. I would love to see a non-chase car win one of these chase races as it would show how stupid the whole idea really is.
I thought that the interview with Kasey Kane was very interesting after yesterday's race. He ripped NASCAR for a yellow for debris which then led to an accident and another bad accident a few laps later which ended his day. He said that he understands that
NASCAR wants to put on a show for the fans but it was rediculous to bring out that yellow. The reporter quickly added that Kasey was upset at getting knocked out when he had such a competitive car and he probably hadn't seen the water bottle on the track, bla, bla, bla. My first thought was "I wonder who threw that water bottle out of his car in the first place?".

Johnson certainly did have a very fast car. Montoya seemed to be just about the only other car that could keep up with him.
