I was getting ready to order my five point harness and found that you can order the lap belts to pull up or pull down. I was going to order them to pull down, but then I ran one across a post where the room to pull down was raised but wasn't really resolved.

So, I am asking the opinion of those that have driven their car for awhile. Is it better to have pull up or pull down lap belts with the limited room in the car.
