Gregg, The immobiliser function in ISIS controls Ignition, Starter and Fuel pump. Hopefully the Engineer is convinced with the security the system offers. I will feel blessed if I only blow a fuse or 2 during power-up. As long as there is no smoke involved I'll be happy.
