Welcome Bud ! I live in Alpharetta (along with what seems like 50 other Cobra owners) and work in Marietta. Hope to see you at the next event. You will be expected to transform your FF into a mean machine like fellow FF guy John Owen.
Randy

Yo Bud, welcome to the neighborhood. Great bunch of Cobra guys around the Atlanta, not to mention one of the premier engine builders (Southern Automotive). We will look forward to meeting you at the next get together. Should be in the next couple of weeks.

SVOBUD,
Glad you found your way over here. I gave you the directions from FFCOBRA. There are quite a few cobras on the northwest side of Atlanta including the Kennesaw and Marietta area. Great to have you aboard.
Monitor this site and you will find numerous gatherings and events with the other local cobra owners. Great group of guys who are helpful with any questions or problems you might have. Look forward to meeting you at one of our local gatherings.

Welcome!
I am rather new myself and have only attended one gathering a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed the group. Your car looks great and remember seeing for sale - I believe it was up in North Georgia./? Once again welcome and hope to see you at our next get together.
I just thought of something - your a COP? You might have to take an OATH to not tell secrets before you ride along.

Hey Bud, since you work for the Police Department, can you get us some "GET OUT OF JAIL FOR RACING ON I-285" coupons? These would make some great Father's Day presents.

Glad to have you Bud!
I'm in Alpharetta too. I have a Unique FIA with a Bill Parham motor that is WAY faster than GeorgiaSnake's 6 cylinder!!!
PC's been crashed for a week or so, but a belated welcome.
Watch here for events and be sure to get you ACCOBRA decal available soon... these will be adorning the best dressed chase cars... even a few patrol cars perhaps....
I got a deal for you... I will trade straight up one ACCOBRA decal for one of those black/blue decals.....

now why would you want one of those? So many non-law enforcement people have them now that they get ignored or may get you an extra ticket when they find out you're 'posing' ..

Welsome SVOBUD!!
Check out the posts on the meet this Sat night in Canton (Riverstone Plaza--one exit north of GA 20 on I-575)
We (the ATL crowd) try and meet there, as they usually get a great turn-out of cars---sometimes in excess of 600.
Maybe we'll meet there.

cool .. I'm off tomorrow and the weather looks like it's going to be sweet. Is this a cruise in or something? 600 cars? Like all makes/models right?
I couldn't find the thread you were referring to. Directions (other than one exit north of GA 20)? Do you guys meet up some place or just meet that the Plaza? What time does it start/end? etc ..
Thanks.

Looks like you made a very wise choice. Damn pretty car, and I bet you bought it at a nice price relative to value. Congrats. One of the best looking ffr interiors around.
