That's what I like to see, a good time had by all and only $100 in damages....especially if its not my $100 :D

The weather and the route were both great and it ended up with BBQ and, to my knowledge, no shelfish were harmed in any way:D definitely a good day.

My favorite moment was a toss up.
Johan, were you referring to the shellfish? %/

When's the next date to see you guys toss your cup cars (and possibly lunch)? I want to be there! (for the cup car part....)

ToyCollector 03-29-2004 03:34 PM

It should be at the Mitty. Be forewarned, racing is contagous, and unlike eating seafood, less dangerous ;) .

chill 03-29-2004 03:45 PM

That's what I need, a new hobby....%/

Tony Radford 03-29-2004 04:07 PM

Did you guys catch the thread about the Mitty and the new Superformance dealer?

GeorgiaSnake 03-29-2004 04:17 PM

Hey chill did you notice the guy in the Tahoe asking me questions - right before you almost ran into me - objects are much closer than they appear:rolleyes: He rolled his window down and asked me "is that one of the new Corvettes?" I told him no it was a Cobra and he said "who makes them?" He then said "show me how fast it is" that is why I took off with you in hot pursuit. By the way you are teaching your son well!!

It was a good day. The route was short but fun. I need to check my baseball schedule and plan another. We need more cars rolling (Tony & Tony, DC, TC, JW, JO, DH, BE, SC, SVO, CJ, JP etc.......). As for the BBQ - I will do it next time - mine is far better and free.

Randy

Chill - your car looks really good now leave it alone :3DSMILE:

Hey TC, was that your tounge lock I might have seen riding on your step bumper on the way home ? Is it magnetic ?

ToyCollector 03-29-2004 06:51 PM

It was underneath my battery charger, so it wasn't going anywhere. It gets better. I had my trailer keys on my back bumper all the way from the storage place to my house. They made the trip as well. Actually, I think my bumper must be magnetic. Hey, can I borrow those lawn chairs that were on top of your trailer before you left? :p

Old habits die hard.

EDIT to redo smiley.

Touche' Dude

We better never follow us

And, NO, we're not kidding, that's how exhausting a track deal can be. I was SO SO pissed when I found out TC's rig was air-conditioned. Some people will do anything to win.

GeorgiaSnake 03-29-2004 08:01 PM

Sounds to me like I need to take a trailer on my next trip to Savannah, battery charger, chairs, ball locks, exhaust tips and who knows what else - maybe even a cat from the past which I will auction off to JW or Wilf as both need a new *****.

It's like following an older Harley, spilling pieces right and left. I guess TC and I are twins...

Johan 03-29-2004 08:30 PM

It just dawned on me that this thread has been hijacked ! Shame, shame, shame...!
Good thing Winter is over and we can count on some nice weekends for cruising in the near future. I suggest we cruise on over to my house and work on "project x" as April fools day is not far off. Some of you know what I am talking about.....
I brought more of it home from the racetrack, and just need a few more pieces..which I believe DC has .

Alex Donghi 03-30-2004 12:04 PM

John

redUnique 03-30-2004 12:47 PM

Johan,

Ah yes, project X, the rare find.

Spyderman 04-02-2004 09:53 PM
