Kit Car show in Carlisle, PA
Well, I made it to the show on Saturday. It really is a serious event. Lots of interesting automotive experiments and legacy works of art. The Unique team was getting a lot of attention. I even saw one of the Atlanta-built Serpent Express trailers there along the with the owner, Mr. Larry Adams of Ohio. I suppose there were 40 or 50 Cobras in the snake pit along with I'm sure a thousand or more others including a vast contingent of British sports cars. I was particularly interested in a little Lotus-7 look alike out of Canada. It sports a 250 HP motorcycle engine and weighs less than 1,000 lbs. And a truly nice piece of workmanship. The ERA GT 40 is absolutely beautiful. The SPF version looked nice as you would expect. Interestingly enough, I didn't see any high performance engine vendors at the event. Bill, you might look at this in the future. Most of the known Cobra kit manufacturers were there in force. Anyway, it was a nice day for the event and I'm sorry to say, I didn't have a camera with me.
