Georgia meet for all cobras
Well I was suprised to see the amount of replies on the riversotne tread since I last checked it on Friday. I did go to the riverstone meet but did not drive the cobra due to the weather and working on my buddy's cobras up to the last minute. Did not see one cobra.
I am anxious to meet all of you and see your cars? Please try and meet Saturday morning 7/24 @ Dandy Donuts off Chamblee Dunwoody road NE corner of 285 inside the perimeter 9:00 a.m.

David, Thanks... but this one is big. Probably looking at pulling the motor for a major overhaul. As you recall, I bought the car with 2000 miles on it and noticed immediately it was running waaaaay too rich. I suspect the running rich condition trashed the oil rings. But hey, now I can make it exactly what I want, got to look at the bright side. Please send me a PM, I don't know how to call you.

Weather looks ok so I'll be heading down 400 from Alpharetta around 7:30 if anybody wants to hook up speak up. Any of the exits from Windward down to Holcombe Bridge will work for me.

I may make the ride in. How far is it inside the loop on Peachtree Industrial?

I have the kids tomorrow morning. May give them each some keys to hold in their right hand, and a screwdriver in the left so they feel like "real" car owners, and bring them with me to check out all the neat cars. I will be teaching them to point out fine details on all your cars as they hold these beloved objects.
I look forward to a relaxing morning with y'all. Do they sell ice cream there as well? My kids love ice cream in the hot weather when they look at cars. .

Tony, if it takes you more than 1 minute and 49 seconds from the perimeter you need a Big Block!
