B2 Motorsports is getting a new logo/website...
Thanks to our fellow Cobra owner, Andronikos from Greece, the company is getting a little makeover. First comes a logo that actually looks like a logo....and second is a website that actually looks professional.
If some of you remember, Andronikos was having some trouble with valvetrain/bearing issues and I was able to help him out by sending him some new parts to bolt up. Afterwards, I found out that he owns his own company (Ixor3D) that does a lot of graphic design work. It's very nice to have some professional creativity in things like this and Andro is very creative.
Here's what we've come up with so far....I think it looks spiffy.

Nice look. Be sure and tell your developer to format for Apple devices.

When deciding on your new logo make sure you can carry it over to shirts and hats!

Tighten up the "B" in "B2" -- it looks more like "132" Motorsports to me. Of course, some people say I'm just dumb....

Hello guys. Andro here.
Yes I agree - we have to fix "B". I think we will have the website ready by the end of Sept. (lots of parts and material to add)... Yes it will be apple / ipod friendly.
Best - Andronikos,

Well, we're off to a good start.
Still have to add all of the Paypal items, add some other products pages on, and fix a few description discrepancies, but we're up and running.
B2 Motorsports LLC
Much, much, much thanks to Andronikos....couldn't have done it without him.

But I use the "search" function on other car sites all the time. If there isn't one on the B2 Motorsports site then I'll be an unsatisfied customer.

Habberdasher isn't anywhere on my site Patrick.
Chas,
Yes sir, as time permits, I will be adding a lot of engine packages, especially the FE stuff.

Dyno tests on the bigger power builds will help too.

Old eyes have a real tough time with the colors. Sorry but that's just me. Can't do the bright on black

Welcome to the big time Brent. Keep those tech and content descriptions on every item you sell.
You gonna add some Pond /Genie/ Shelby FE packages?

Some observations and personal preferences:
Preferences first...
Site looks good overall. Kudos! Personally, I find the new logo somewhat unappealing (no offense intended). I do not like the characters/font with the sharp points and it's a little bit bland with all the grey/white... that said, it looks like the 2 is leaving a cloud of dust behind it as it races off, and I think that is clever.
I agree about the colors... though it might be the fonts used in the lists. They are hard to read at that size. Maybe the characters are too thin...
I'm in agreement on the search finction... but that can be added as you go and time permits.
Overall layout is nice!
Observations...
There is plenty of room in the listing-block that displays in the center of the screen, so I'd suggest bumping up the font size a bit.
As you work together, keep in mind that sans-seriff fonts (like Arial) are designed to hold your eyes in place, as opposed to seriff fonts (like Times New Roman) that help you read lines of text, by implying to your eye the notion of underlines... they move your eyes along as you read.
As such, I'd suggest sans-seriff fonts for the lists, headings (especially important ones like the 445 Windsor cover page, etc.), and short explanations where you want to catch the reader's attention.
Conversly, use seriff fonts for descriptions where the customer has to read long lines of textual explanations, details, and such.
Looks good ! Great to see this advancement in the business. Looking forward to seeing more.

Unless you only have 9 line items in your on-line store then a search function should be a no-brainer.
