For all you other jackwagons, well, so long.

... one jackwagon says goodby to his fellow jackwagons, touching :)

Urban Dictionary definition

2. Jack wagon
n. Slang term derived from the Freight or Chow wagons used in the late 19th century. These were often the last wagons in a wagon train, making them the least favorable to drive due to the dust, waste, and debris from the front of the train.

When used as in insult it refers to one's lack of intelligence, implying the insultee is capable of no more than operating a Chow wagon.

You're doing it wrong, you Jack wagon!

Yes. And oversized pics, posted in the wrong place and text to peg your BS meter. Amazing he accepted 'best offer' below 69K after squawking the 100K in 'R&D' he spent. Actually not-after the education he got here, he realized how ordinary it was to this audience. Too bad the buyer didn't.
He even posted this 'Adios' in the wrong place. Master Jackwagon. ..
It was a real gift having him here huh?
Truly Rsimores class character.

Hydramada 12-28-2013 09:49 AM

This is the same guy who insulted ever SPF cobra owner by telling them that their car handles like a VW and was a electrical hazard? I have a feeling I know who the "jack wagon" is......

Guess I'll just take those graduate degrees, and the 80K spent on a sports car love and go elseware... not.

RodKnock 12-28-2013 11:59 AM

Did someone say chow? Anyone else hungry now? I'm going to check the refrigerator.

Bernica 12-28-2013 12:04 PM

"Ciao". Italian for good bye.

From the Chief Jackwagon.

I think your official title is Chief Executive Jackwagon or CEJ for short.

To CC's official CEJ then, do you think the sale price breaks down as follows:

Cobra $55,000.00
Research & Development $1.00
Hyperbole Premium Paid By Consumer $4,999.00

Total Sales Price $60,000.00

patrickt 12-28-2013 02:26 PM

I question whether he really sold it or not. I think his whole post was just a "face saving" ploy.

As CEJ, I find this a really sad situation.

In another thread on here, members are helping a guy with Webers on a VW---that's great!... There's no end to the kindness and experience freely given here. It's what makes us a great site.

That $1 wasted on R & D, was reallv the wrong, useless parts he changed over 8 years to wind up with a crate motor putting out its advertised HP anyway. Instead, interaction here would have avoided all of that and provided info for the best parts and services. What Othhoff did to sort the chassis is the only smart money he spent.

But no-he had to prove that he was smarter than all of us by feeding us 'Shopped pics and the worst hyperbole since the Pontiac Aztec. He only came here to brag () and sell it. He was totally unaware how many 600 HP road race cars actually live here. Dumbass.
Nah-none of us would pick up on that, right??:LOL::LOL:

lovehamr 12-28-2013 03:10 PM

Personally I like "douche-knocker" over "jack-wagon." Jus sayin'

Maybe even "twat-waffle"...............

Yeah, that's what he seemed like to me, a twat-waffle!

RodKnock 12-28-2013 03:41 PM

I don't question whether he sold it but I'd bet his answer for a price would be "I got very close to asking price." And I'm thinking that's where the BS would be complete.

I heard waffle so I'm headed back to the freezer. I'm hungry again.

You should try wrapping the large waffle around a couple of scoops of high-fat vanilla ice cream (not the healthy crap, nor frozen yogurt), then drizzle some hot chocolate sauce over the top, a squirt of whipped cream in to each end, along with one small squirt on top of the waffle itself, drop a maraschino cherry right in the middle, and then dance some sprinkles across the top. We love it. You will end up saying "Patrickt, you are wonderful. Not only do you know everything there is to know about everything, but you are great at whipping up ice cream treats, too.":)

Have you blokes been munching on angry pills or is it just hunting season over there? I enjoy spirited and constructive debate as much as the next bloke and I accept that some of the comments were meant as advice and or questioning. However I think it is sometimes better to let these controversies just fade away and maintain a positive side to this great site. Failing to do so will only inhibit other people from raising subjects they would like to, for fear of being criticised or questioned. After all its not the Spanish Inquisition again, is it? All the best to everyone and hope you have a safe and Happy New Year.

madmaxx 12-28-2013 06:20 PM

Come on I don't think he commented to piss us off but to look how we could e better.

dreamin,
You certainly are entitled to that very sensible opinion, which surely allows things to fade away.
But the site enjoys a dash of controversy and we all benefit from the experience and contributions of those that participate. There are many extroverts here with tons of opinions and experience and the desire to pass on hard-learned knowledge to others. Especially when deceit is exposed and questioned without valid answers. That potentially saves members from loss or a bad car experience.
Personal attacks are not part of the skill set desired here and if you were paying attention to the earlier thread by this poster, he unleashed them when his imagined facts were exposed-by many members.
No, not everything is The Inquisition, unless errors or deceit are detected.
Those less extroverted can and do lurk but they should not fear contributing or asking for help among the membership.
That's what makes the site great.
Why not get a Cobra to put that V 10 in, participate more than 75 posts and stop 'dreamin'?? :)

just dreamin 12-28-2013 06:43 PM

ERA Chas
I have four cobra kits (all at build stage) which is what I enjoy doing, more than the car I had on the road some years ago. I have one car for the V10 one has a 429 fitted, one has a 460, one has a 351 with 3x TKO 600 etc. As for dreaming, my whole life is just a dream.
