"Why is your distributor in the back of the engine?" My valve covers are engraved "POWERED BY FORD NOT" and so many people don't noitice the "NOT" .

"When will it be done? " usually asked by my fellow Cobra club members, and a few neighbors.

Just started my build two weeks ago; best question was by a non-carguy neighbor:
"What the ---- are you building now?"

I don't get any one question as much as I get:
"My neighbor had one of those once."

I had to explain what a Cobra was to a 60yr old man this weekend. Shelby Cobra? Blank Stare... I'm still confused over the whole situation..

I've had it since July and by far "Is it real"? Is it real what? You older owners must go nuts! Really can't say what I say. Screw it. I'm saying yes from now on. Don't I look like a Multimillionair???? 209

I have had several little kids ask " how fast will it go" with a look of wonder in their eyes.

Besides the "is it real" which we have beaten that topic to death..the next questions is a tie,
1. How fast does it go?
1a. How much did it cost?
and almost as much as:
1b. how long have you owned it?
my .03 worth,
chris

Obviously the most frequently asked questions are "is it real?" and "how much did it cost?" But the very first question I ever got, minutes after I picked the car up from the seller, was from a guy in a clapped-out mid-1980s Camaro. He said, "Wanna race?"

Definitely : Why is it taking you so long to build it ? Thats a family favorite.
Followed by "How big is that engine ?"

When I go to a show or a Cruise-in I always put up a small sticker that say: LOOK DON'T TOUCH AND DON'T ASK THE PURCHASE PRICE.

That should be a Thread by itself. Good question!
I cannot say that the vehicle has contributed to my success in achieving more Pu$$y.. I'm surprise..maybe I'm hanging out at the wrong places.
Most shows and Cruise-in, woman that comes to them don't worth a second look.... The low % rate of the good looking ones that attend those activities comes with their spouses and are normal middle aged type...
When I do find a girl without the car and when she discover that I own one, she quickly request to drive it..
I'm single, buffed and I believe I'm a fairly good looking guy..so I have to blame it on the Environment in which I live in..
That is a NO, NO in my book!
So the answer to your question for me is NO!..
Maybe because I live in southern Virginia. I may assume if I lived like in DC or LA, then I'm pretty sure things would be different..
Would like to have other opinions about this subject..
Please place a separate thread for this topic..
Dex...
