rodknock, you really need to get a better security system if Pat is prowling in your garage around your official Cobra.

Shhh! Don't tell him that the battery cutoff switch is mounted on the back panel behind the seats. Oh and the fuel shut off switch is on the dash. He could never defeat those two security devices, since he would get too wrapped up in some existential conundrum and get caught.

It feels good to be official finally.

Well, I'm now thinking of changing my Club Cobra moniker to "REAL TOO" or maybe "REAL 2", but I'm worried about my post count going back to zero.

My Cobra, and I can call it that now, you replica owners can't, is definitely faster than everyone else's here, except for maybe that one that ran 9 seconds. It's so fast that I may have to add a padded 2nd roll bar.

I can call mine a Cobra and you cannot stop me. "Jim's Cobra." There, I did it.

I do think you need to change your user name to RealToo.

Where are my lawyers, or better yet, where are SAI's lawyers? Let them burn the legal fees.

It's kinda like after you score a touchdown and the refs don't penalize you for "excessive celebration." Or maybe like pulling off your shirt after you score a goal.

I hope you guys realize that I'm just joshing around.

Rodney, Patrick and Evan,

When you three finish up with your little circle jerk can we get back to a nice big block/small block thread or maybe some Evan bashing.

Well, if I start saying things like "The SAAC Registry states...." or I end my posts with "Takes care", then you can start calling Evan and I "Bro's"

That hurts. I know you want to be an official pea too, but that just can't happen. Sorry.

I'd take aluminum any day over paint after having a Kirkham!

Most people don't notice the flaws. If a painted car had the road rash my Kirkham does it would look like hell! If the car gets anything significant it can be pulled out and no one would ever be able to tell the difference.

Also, being just up the street from the shop I'm pretty lucky, well 60 miles. (But that's a trivial distance in a Cobra!

Guys,
I'm in the Kevlar business; do I need to manufacture some vest for you guys, either to protect yourselves or your cars?
I have never seen some much gun fire on any thread since Watergate…

I'm going back to bed, don’t shoot me.....LOL
