This past weekend CSX3170 won the Optima Challenge for 0-60-0 against a fairly tough crowd including a Nissan GT-R, Mercedes AMG Black Series, a LS9 powered Camero and many other fast cars all with good sticky street tires. The event was run on a new asphalt surface (traction Challenged) with no drag radials allowed. Times are not published yet but I believe it was 6.5 seconds. On one run the car reached 69 mph and stopped in a time of 6.9 seconds. We tried to talk them into a 0-100-0 deal but they said there was not enough room. |
