Primary Children's Hospital Donation Page

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I've set up a page with a button where you can make donations to the Primary Children's Hospital car build. Thank you all very much for asking for this.

http://www.kirkhammotorsports.com/charity/
  • Enter your donation amount and hit the update button FIRST. All other information on the page will be wiped when updating the donation amount.
  • Any donation receipts PCH gives us will be mailed to the address given on the first page.
  • We can't promise tax exempt status for any of these donations, PCH folks say probably, but YMMV, check with accountant, who knows?
  • If you're donating by PayPal, please use this button. All donations are specially flagged as "donation" and it will make accounting much easier for us.
  • We will, of course, still accept parts, cash, checks sent however you like.
Thank you again.

For those unfamiliar with the Primary Children's Hospital, here's Wikipedia's description.

Childrens hospitals need all the help they can get! We have been taking care of sick kids for the past 21 years. (Unicare Health Services). I appreciate everyone who can help the Kirkhams out. We're in. PayPal done.... Peace, Darren KMP500

I'm in as well with a modest donation... A couple of suggestions if I may:

Much like I've done with my effort and similarly with the periodic drives to raise money for CC, I've found posting donation status - names or usernames, amounts and/or total raised - to be useful and helps all guage where the effort sits.

Also, with any Paypal Donation (the way it's setup now), PP takes their 2.9%. If donors send money via PP Personal Gift Transfer, the fee is waived. It might be something worth considering...every little bit helps.

The trunk panels were just cut out on the water jet and they have been fitted into the chassis. Then BOOM! The water jet decided to go on vacation. Jeremy is back rebuilding the pump right now.

Keith Craft 600 HP motor waiting to be hooked up to Santa's sleigh. Speaking of that...anyone want to call Edelbrock and see if they want to donate some 427 heads and an intake manifold to the project?

Here are our new CV flanges. It seems we are behind on every part and so the machines will be on fire today.

I just talked to all my guys. They will all donate their time tomorrow on the car. That is over 100 hours of labor. We have the greatest employees on earth!

They did make me promise to supply burritos for lunch

Dave,

Maybe a list of items that people can purchase to donate to the car?

The stuff that Kirkhams make is not as difficult for you to provide. The other stuff like brakes, wheels, tires, seat belts, steering wheel, battery, switches, mirror etc... may be where people can step in.

Can you make a list of these types of items with price and we can start knocking them out?

Great idea!

Coming up!
