There are more than a few...they may not spend every day on the forum, though.
Look for this badge in CC users profile --> http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/shelb.gif - that indicates an owner of an original. (p.s. if any orig CSX owner needs a badge, contact me) |

I don't know how many owners of originals are ClubCobra members, but I can think of 7 off the top of my head, and I am sure there are probably many more.

If you are talking "real" Cobras need to include the current series.
You question is more accurately stated if directed to inquiring about how many members own original series. |
Everyone on the planet knew what he meant by his question.....
...well, apparently not everyone. |
Hello, I am the current caretaker of CSX2498, it has been in the family since '69. Currently going thru some body repairs & new paint.

I don't think the new cars are "real" like the actual original Cobras like the public expects.

Hey Ron, how about starting a new thread on what a real one really is/means, OK?:JEKYLHYDE |

Ron is right on. Again and again. |
OK...now that we have settled that...;)
Please...no more posts about "real" and "current", etc. I will delete them. It looks like this thread will be a good spot to collect those members for whom we have not installed Owners Badges into their profile. As such, I'd like it to stay pure to that topic. thanks |
additional info
The young man that owned the cobra was entering medical school at the Univ of Penna and he had way too many cars. His father told him if he sold two cars then his med school fees would be paid in full. So he had to decide which two cars to sell. He had a jag e type, a mg with a small block chebby along with a barn full of others.
He choose to keep the MG with the chebby and sold the Cobra to my dad for 3200.00. I think he chose poorly. later, karl |
