80,000 Miles on my Cobra!

(Rollin, rollin, rollin, keep those dogies rollin, Rawhide!)

It happened as I drove by a "Gentleman's Club; I figured it was fate, so I HAD to go in.

Now I have a nice string bikini bottom to hang on my Cobra mirror.

Congratulations! When you told me a few weeks ago you had nearly 80k on the Cobra I could hardly believe it! That's quite a feat on a toy!

Sharroll Celby 12-10-2009 06:34 PM

Thanks, Hyde!

Ditto.

Way to go, Edley...if that is indeed your real name. I'm wondering...anybody hear of any Cobra, real or imagined, that had/has more miles?

jayscobras 12-10-2009 09:35 PM

yeah

Ralph Button in the north east. Last time I heard he had over 220k on his.

I had to fly around France once to drop a package off in libya, does that count>?

HI Cobra 12-10-2009 11:56 PM

Kei Iinuma has over 100k on his Mid States in Hawaii and probably 60k-70k
on his CSX7000 that he has in California. Those are the only two cars he has
as in daily drivers no matter what state he is in. Hawaii is his primary
residence. No where near 200k but more than most.

Counts mucho in my book.

Wow ! 80,000 miles is more than 3 times around the world..think of it....in a cobra, or 3 times around the w**** at the Gentleman's Club...it's all fun.
Congrats!

khansmith 12-11-2009 07:05 AM

That's incredible. Now I feel stupid for getting excited about hitting my first 100 miles.

Todd Baumann 12-11-2009 08:37 AM

Ralph Button in his FFR has somewhere near 400K on his roadster now.

Ron61 12-11-2009 08:54 AM

Dave Dodge of the Bay Area Cobra Club has to have several thousand on his as he used to drive it all over the area. He used to come up here about once a month it seemed.

Ron :)

"We only f#$@ed up one place, we accidentally dropped a bomb on the French embassy. 'Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa! Aw, sorry about that fellahs. I'm sure we would have had better aim if we had more F#$%ING SLEEP! Thanks for those 6500 extra air miles, you f#$%heads, BUILD A NEW HOUSE!'

A lot of those miles are track miles as well. I finally met him at one of the car get togethers in Santa Clara this past summer.
The guy is a driving animal. :D

I put almost 5K on mine from basically April through September. It's just too much fun not to drive. I only put 3K on my daily driver work truck in the same interval. Another 1K on my Shelby Mustang.
