I am assuming the CSX is 4995. He is reluctantly selling his Cobra. He worked so hard to get that car into Canada and then had issues. He is a good guy and I have become friends with him and wish I could get the car, but I cannot afford it.
|
He had issues with the car?
Or he had issues keeping it in Canada? |

Perhaps he's confused by the lack of attached dog teams.

I would say to buy one of them...
... before you start a thread on which is better? Club Cobra or Cobra Country. :p ;) |
While we're talking about Cobra C*****y listings, that ERA is pretty sweet, too. It's the first one I've seen come up since I bought 707 - I would have had a long wait if that deal hadn't worked out.
Is #760 one of ours? EDIT: Hey, there's a beauty of each maker up for grabs - that should make it easy for those who are undecided! |

BTW, those are REAL magnesium Halibrand wheels too! Nice ERA.

The guy in Canada that is selling his CSX Cobra went through a lot of trouble to get it legal there. Motor was built by Kieth Kraft in Arkansas and it has just over 700 miles on it. He has some personal problems that are forcing him to sell it. I would buy it if I could get one of the SB-100 numbers here but that is impossible unless I go to another town as our DMV here is completely against registering any car, let alone a SPCN. Also I am not sure if there would be a legal problem bringing it back out of Canada as their Transport Canada has some weird rules about cars going to and from there. But the car is awesome and is everything an more than he says in the adds.

Wow Guys OUCH ! Most of You Know that is is very hard to get a "kit car" into the great white north , I have been off line for a couple weeks , Moved to possibly the coldest part of the country .. Winnipeg , from the warmest , B.C.
Temp was -37 C last week (windchill) , don't know what that is in Yank ( Fereinheit);) Any who Thought I may have missed something, that CSX is a Very late serial # , I will make an ASS of U and ME it is possible , I'm betting Planet Cobra. On a purchase this spring , Price is a factor ( young family , etc) and getting it here , But thanks for all the kind words and support ;) Happy Holidays SDR ________ Vaporizer answer |

As Ron61 and others have said, CSX4995 is a fantastic car that is currently located in the Toronto area. If you have the money, call Bruce and see if you can come to terms. This is one of a handful of CSX4000s in Canada and it would be a crying shame if it was sold to someone outside the country. As for Kirkham KMP529, I don't think the car is currently located in Canada. I've corresponded with the seller and get the impression that the car is at his other house in the U.S. Contact him directly if you're interested. Both cars are absolutely sweeeeeeeet! |
