FREE donor- anyone interested?
Friend just contacted me and wanted to know if anyone wanted his car for free.

Dave, do you know anyone interested in our 1995 Merc Cougar to use as a donor car for a Cobra??? 4.6V8 4whl disc IRS rear. It is out of registration in Feb and we just want to get rid of it.
It has about 120K.
Yup, it runs. I wouldnt drive it to AZ though. Needs ball joints.
My brother gave us the car. When one of his dept police cars was retired they supposedly put in the chip that changes the timing and trans shift modes and a few other things. It shifts at about 6,400 rpm when you stand on the throttle and is definatly faster than a normal T-bird or Cougar with the 4.6
Car is in Hayward, Ca.
Didn't realize it until now, it's an auto.
