Here is mine in the ERA. Close to original look. 427 side oiler, Sidewinder intake, NASCAR billet Holley, solid lifters, great sound too.

Here ya go Gary,

Originally built up by Genesis then reworked by KCM. Genesis 427 (468) ci s/o aluminum block, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and water pump. Comp Cams hydraulic rollers and cam, Scat rotating assembly with Diamond racing pistons. Holley 850 modified by Chuck Nuytten.

Not a lot of performance goodies, but I thought 415 hp at the flywheel was enough.

If you need a build list, I've got one. Everything down to the fasteners.

I have to say Full Throttle Al's FI engine is beautiful. I'm sure Henry and Edsel Ford would be very proud.

Here's Shelby Engine #197, both in and out of the car. 482ci; CS heads with Stage II porting and CS roller rockers; CS intake, water pump etc, and lots more good stuff. Built by Mike Lefevers of Shelby American. I have detailed receipts and can provide any other info you may want.

Rotating assy and cam are from Keith Craft. Block machined at Jim's machine shop in Brunswick GA. PI intake, Race Demon RS carb and cool H/M valve covers that I can't use!:( Then I assembled it. Let's hope it works!%/

I put a Southern Automotive 428 FI with a Tremic TKO 5 spd. in my Hurricane. Just under 10,000 miles on it and it runs like an "old workhorse" and hauls a**.
No complaints so far and good service from the Parham's at SO.

If you want a period correct engine, I can highly recommend Dwight Powell from just outside of Atlanta. He has a bunch of NOS 427 and 428 blocks and other parts and has been building primarily these engines since 1968, including for NASCAR (some of the 427 blocks supposedly were extra blocks bought from NASCAR shops years ago after they changed the rules). I will try to post some pics, but here is what he built for me:

-NOS 427 Block (D3AE-6010-AA, C8AZ-G-427-HP), standard bore and stroke
-Ford 427 forged steel crank, standard
-NOS LeMans rods
-NOS forged, small dome, FoMoCo/TRW
-NOS medium riser, C5AE-F
-Ferrea Racing 6000 Series Competition stainless steel valves
-Blue Thunder 1x4 medium riser
-Sealed Power moly rings
-Holman Moody Mechanical Flat Tappet, C5HA-6250, Custom Grind Cam, Lift .526, Lash .025, Rocker Ratio 1.76
-Cloyes double roller timing chain
-Holman Moody hollow lifters, solid shell type
-Melling high-volume oil pump
-Holman Moody lightweight hardened push rods
-Harland Sharp roller rockers
-Holley 750 CFM four barrel, manual choke, vacuum secondary
-Assembly Balanced
-Compression ratio 11 to 1
