This quote made me think:
"Headlights and tail lights are all functioning; just need wiring run to them. This car is a "street car". I have current plates on it." or: "this thing even hooks of the street!" My thought? What? With no lights? LOL |
I know for a fact that that Daytona Coupe is at least 5 years old........
the guy that has it set it up for drag raceing so he could run it on Pinks Allout when they where in Denver last year or the year before.... You could put it back to "stock" and it did have a BBC in it so a BBF would probably fit now with only hood clearence problems if you put a new nose on it. as much as i would like to have a Daytona Coupe.......I'll pass on this one. |
I asked for some additional pictures because I was truly interested in getting a good deal on a starter and never heard back. Oh well, better luck next time.

5 years or 10, the body shape hasn't changed much in about 40. The mechanicals are pretty straight forward, there aren't any. Add motor, trans and rear end. What? Is the mechanical worry here the shocks or brake pads may need replacing? Why yes, I think they might! :)
Just under a 1/3 hour left, jump in there StreetSnake! |
With all the work it would take to make it into a nice Coupe........
$10k tops no more......a new nose would be a major expence..... there are some articles on it in Kit Car Builder Mag....... |
