Another Speedster story ... a few years ago, I toured a high end shop and there were (2) 'original' Speedsters and both had black & yellow plates, but something did not look quite right. The original 60's California black & yellow plates have ABC 123 configuration, which was the kind of plate, one of these cars had.
In the 70's CA went to the blue & yellow 123 ABC plates, and that is exactly what the other car had, except that it had been repainted black & yellow ... a more and more common practice these days. |
