Floor Mats for Cobra
Hey All,
I am looking for a set of Floor mats preferably with the Cobra logo that is the full length of the passenger and driver floor.
Any idea where to get it.
Those that I have seen are half the floor length.
My cockpit is the standard size, no extension

Here's a thread with some info about floor mats. Whatever you do, make sure you fasten them in the back so they don't slide.

Finish line is where I get mine. He has a lot of great products for cobra's.
I would get the money clip but, I don't have anything to put in it !

The first time I washed my car was the last time it had anything on the floor.Since then painted a black undercoat type material.Looks great and works even better. No more anxious moments in the rain or washings.

Bill, regarding the bunching up of the mats, In addition to securing the back end next to the seat, glued the heavy duty plastic mats that have the " gripper " extensions " to the back of the mat. Then had a binding sewn around the mat .

I believe that I got mine from Branda years ago and they were for a Mustang Cobra, but just had the word Cobra on the end of the front mats which is at the seat and the Cobra emblem about center. I still have the two small ones that just have the word Cobra on them. All I had to do to make the front ones fit my car perfectly was trim off just a little on the outside edge and they worked great. Covered the whole carpet and never had a problem with them sliding or bunching up.

Don't get the Finishline ones that had te Cobra logo. They pill up, slide around and it your wife puts Scotchguard on them the red bleeds into the white turning it pink. Don't ask how I know.
If you are taking the car to a show they are good to throw in for that, but dont drive with them withour finding a way to keep them in place.

It's difficult to find floor mats (pre-made) to fit many cobra's because the foot boxes are all a bit different, so the custom made route maybe the only way.
One problem I kept having was my mats kept bunching up under the peddles and on the passenger side too. I tried several different type of mat materials and still had the same problem.
I most recently "glued the mats" to a piece of 1/8" panel material that fits the foot boxes perfectly. I can still easily remove them for cleaning, but now they stay put.

You might check with www.cocomats.com/Custom.htm. They come well recommended and will make custom sets. I doubt they will put a logo on them, however.
