OK back to the original thread.
Take out a home equity loan. Borrow everything to build a new fence and roof, fix the A/C, and buy a Cobra.
Now the thread can down a different "conversational" path towards whether you should pay cash or borrow the funds to pay for a Cobra.
We haven't "done" one of those threads in a while.
