Just got back from the Nordschleife and it's a MUST do experience! We 'only' went around in an Alfa as the battery of the FFR Coupe (Daytona?) was kaput. But even so, just amazing, a lot of guys get hooked on the experience.

I think that was a cautious lap judging by approach and overtaking speeds (I've been in a GTD70 and I know how fast they are) That one seemed a bit tail happy. And you can only overtake on the left on public track days. Luckily that was a very quiet day - it can get crowded there, including mixing it with bikes!! I did see on British-registered car get totalled, engine and box waaay down the track and rest just scrap. For a totally commited lap, google Hans Stuck BMW GTR to see how a true Ringmeister does the job!!

Wow!
That car is Fast!
If they took the limiter off, how much faster would it go?

Incredible.

Guy in the Porsche: "Damn! I'm going fas... WHAT IN THE HELL WAS THAT RED FLASH THAT JUST WENT BY???"

Cool video. Stokes the desire to go to Laguna Seca for the ALMS.

Gotta love the slide job he puts on the econo-box jockey at 1:08. Probably facilitated an underwear change...

It appears the "average" overtaken vehicle only had 4 to 10 seconds to even know he was there!
I want BIG mirrors!

I was behind the Lola in my 289, he would never let me by. It's obvious that the blocking manuevers were totally uncalled for. The suction of the IDA's may have been pulling him off line

On a serious note; as the lap went on it looked like his tires were going off??

No doubt, Stuck was absolutely flying around the Ring, but the sound of the Lola is in a league all its own.
It would be interesting to see Stuck drive the Lola around the ring after it is better sorted.
If I had the time, I could watch those videos all day long.....
