Wheels pointing straight ahead measure centre to centre front to back on both sides. Most cars and the originals are 90" WB (wheelbase).

Yes Mick, Wheel base is perfect on both sides. I was having a senior moment and I typed track instead of wheel base in my opening statement. It is now corrected.

I would get the car scaled, the frontend aligned, give her a run around the block and see what you think.Doubt very much you would ever notice the out of square driving experience.

Honestly know what you are going through. My car was a pain and very hard to enjoy until I focused on and took care of the suspension.Wanted a car that would be great on a road course and just as good at the strip. My compromise was to make it a better road course car.By itself with and incredible weight bias this car is a blast in the 1/4 mile.Only limiting factor for road course racing is the rubber compound.Just cruising around knowing the cars strengths and weaknesses (almost none) is an absolute joy.Find it very difficult to stop even for fuel, just because it is such a joy and thrill to drive. When I do stop it is also a pleasure just looking at it.Thank you Carrol Shelby and to the kit car co's.
