Can anyone give me helpful thoughts on how to go about getting a mechanic / shop to install what I think will be a C6?
Does anyone know how much this would cost? Time to install? How much I would lose in HP? What other items need to be installed like cooling mechanisms etc? Anyone know a good shop or mechanic who has done this in SoCal?
I am looking at trying to get a Mark 3, Superformance with a Rousch engine..so if anyone knows one for sale in this area - let me know.
Thanks!!

I've done two auto conv. and it's not simple, both were Superformance cars and the trans were AOD's. With both I used Locar shifers turned around and if you didn't know it was a automatic you would never know. The shifter mount was moved back about 5",I left the clutch componites just pluging it (cylinder)left the pedal hard as a rock, now a nice foot rest. You'll need a trans cooler move the trans mount and driveshaft some other misc stuff this is all easier with the the engine out, but that's about it. I think the cost with the trans was about 4500 bucks. hope I was helpful.
