I was stuck between the these two colors Indigo Blue and Toyota spectra mica blue....they are very close when compared in my colorblind opinion:). The above is spectra mica- |
Indego Ink Pearl
Here is the address for my build with indigo ink pearl. While called a Lexus color, as we all know its really a Toyota color (Prius). Lots of comments at shows, particularly with white stripes. www.FFRMK4cobra@blogspot.com This color does seem to change as you move around the car depending on the direction of the light.

Bernica,
Which Ford Blue did you use? Another questions that I have is how do I find the paint codes for modern OEM colors? All I can seem to find is the Ford or Lexus code but not the actual mixing codes. Thanks, Austin |
Austin,
Believe it or not, that's a Ford Taurus color! It's been so long, I will have to look for the code and will post it when I find it. Bernica |

Hope that helps! |
Bernica,
Thanks for the help, I really like that color and I think I might just go with it! Now I just have to decide what color and type I am going to use for the stripes... So many decisions!!! Austin |

Yes, I love the color too. When you get to stripes, pay attention to the geometry! There are posts here about the layout. They are not simply straight stripes and they taper to follow the body. Meatballs add another dimension to things as well. Good luck and keep everyone posted on your progress! Michael |
Michael,
Thanks, I will keep everyone posted on the progress. Dave Brady down here in TX is doing all of my body work. I hope to have the car finished for Spring driving weather. I found a Mercedes-Benz metallic silver that I think I am going to use on the stripes. Austin |
Of course, I could also give you the code for the "hood ornament" on my avatar, but that might prove more costly than the paint job! Ha!
