Shelby America, Inc.
Does anyone know anything about this company? Shelby America, Inc., (not Shelby American, Inc.) looks like they used to be out of Los Angeles. Quality of builds, number of cars, chasis type, etc..
Thanks

Did you run across a data plate like this one, a poor reproduction from the 80's?
And you are confused why it is not this one(proper spelling):

Yes I did! It's in a AC Cobra replica, blank where your pic has "MUSTANG G.T.-350" So what's the deal?

Someone bought the plate and riveted it to their car.

Bad reproduction VIN plates are a dime a dozen, not many vendors carry the bad ones any longer, but a few still sell them to unsuspecting buyers.

And why would anyone put a GT350 plate on an AC Replica?

I just used those two above as an example.
They have them marked "cobra" and such also....

yes, the VIN plate on the Cobra looks exactly like the repo MRMMUSTANG posted the pic of w/o the MUSTANG G.T.350 on it. Good to know it's BS, thanks!
