Very interesting, since my CMC kit,(kit?) was a pain but at that time assumed they were all somewhat the same.Did work through all the problems fixed all that needed fixing and now have a beautiful well fitted car.Sad to hear it is owned by the same people, and their at the same game.

redmt,
When you even have Street Beast owners telling you to run.......RUN!
Everyone is a cheerleader for their own Cobra except for one, and with a lot of detractors...Street Beasts. Not that you couldn't make a nice car by why give yourself hundreds of extra hours of work to save some money? What's your time and frustration worth?

Sad part of all this is the Co's management and their customer service. After being around all the different people I have met over the years with all the different kit cars I have looked over.Makes me feel quite good having my car with all it's features. It was not a real big deal to assemble my car once I focused on the drive train.Of course been building cars for many years, those that have not I extend my sympathy.Assembling any kit car requires patience, dedication,a work area with enough elbow room, most important is a vision on the final result. With the right skills these cars can be fullfulling putting them together.

I hate to see any "kit" sit and not get finished beause the manufacturer is a "less than desirable company" to deal with....theres many places to buy parts for that car to finish it and make a nice car to drive and enjoy....it should be finished by someone....if it comes up again after i move back to Cali.. maybe i will see about getting it for my kid and we can have a project to work on together

you need to avoid these guys like the plague. They are basically CMC and the product is no better than it was way back when they stole money from me. I ended up with a Midstates and couldn't be happier. Avoid these guys and keep looking. Unique, Johnex, ERA, places like this build great cars. Don't look at price only, look for quality of product and customer service.

Do some research. These guys are from Florida, the scam state. They were under a different name a few years back under investigation by the atourney general and changed their name to Street Beasts. Took peoples money, did not ship the kits and if they did half the parts were missing. There were stories of customers chasing them for over a year or more for the back ordered parts. Like Mr Mustang said walk away fast. You asked for advice, you got it.

The "scam state"?? I beg your pardon
