Any Motorcyclists Out There?
Been watching "Cafe Racer" lately and got the bug for a new project. Might be a bit cheaper of a hobby since both girls will be in college next year. These cafe racers are pretty cool and would be a blast to build and ride.

I think you will find a lot of us Cobra owners here also have motorcycles. I always struggled on the nice days whether to ride the bike or drive the Cobra

No Cobra yet but I ride a 99 Ducati Monster. Love the way it sounds and the maintenance schedule keeps me plenty busy.

The minimalist approach of a Cafe Racer is nice! Clean lines, not unlike the Cobra, just enough "stuff" to get the job done, no more. I need one...
I got the interstate cruiser, often to clumsy to deal with on short trips or just a fun run. Then I take the 650 Enduro with serious knobby tires, skinny seat, no padding. Man that thing will beat you to death on the street! What to do???
Yeah, I need a Cafe racer to be well rounded, thanx for the tip!

That is SO well said. You've got to watch the Cafe Racer episodes.

Honda Shadow Ace, looks like new...
The wife would generally rather ride the mc than the Cobra. I'm the other way around, but the mc gives us something we enjoy together. Plus, we ride with a group of 3 couples who love riding together and hanging out and sight-seeing. It's a somewhat dangerous but enjoyable hobby. Sometimes we designate one person to decide a place to ride to. We then follow that leader to that (unknown) destination and generally it involves seeing someplace we've never seen or doing something we've never done. Then we eat. Invariably, we eat. Good times.

Harley Dyna Super Glide. Lots of fun! 1583 cc engine & 6 speed. Too heavy to be a performance bike though.

Motorcycles?
I think you should stay away from those Vincents and other early iron. My Bultacos from the 70s are all dirt whether mxing the Pursangs or dirttracking the Astro. Kinda been laying off racing since I've entered the 60s but still get a thrill once in a while. 209

Well Ed, thats why a fellow needs at least two, maybe three. So I went over to a friends house the other day and noticed he had TWO RV's. I asked him, "Why TWO?" He said, "You got two motorcycles!"
Shut me right up....

Must be in the water supply. I said I'd never buy another scooter after selling my Fat Boy years back, especially after getting Cobra fever. But I saw an episode of Cafe Racer Saturday....and then caught myself surfing for Triumphs and Nortons on eBay this weekend. I'm prolly screwed huh?.

I ride!
Grew up on dirt, got into the Harley custom thing years ago, then got into custom Triumph street tracker creations, and vintage custom Triumph builds a few years back..., sold all of it and returned back to Dirt and dual sporting. Now riding Italian made Beta dirt and dual sport bikes. Dual-sport dirt riding is back, big time. The new technology dirt and dual sport dirt bikes are just amazing and super fun to ride.

I sold my shadow for funds that went to buying my first cobra. While I'm sad to see it go, I'm super happy with my new car.
This was supposed to be my last bike ever until I realized I was close to a roadster.

I had a Norton 750 but it was a vertical twin.
Not as sharp as yours but a good bike, would love to have one like yours.
