It says call for price.

The glove compartment door is funky, the trunk has a really small opening, the spare tire is missing, it probably has a salvage title and could it be missing a hard-top since it has that odd trunk door.

With all those flaws, I bet they'll have to settle for a measly million on this one. :JEKYLHYDE

Of course it's a beautiful restoration.... But it pretty much has to be driven by someone with the height of Dr. Miguelito Loveless.

God that car is gorgeous... Amazing how we can never get tired of looking at this car, seriously a true mystique to it.

Maybe it's just the angle of the picture but it looks like the arms on the wheel nut on the front are pitched at a different angle than the one on the rear. Not that I have been fixated with the picture or anything.

Not to mention but it looks like it's been lowered as well. I wonder why they would go with black wheels vs. the original Halibrand "Dow 7" which is a gold color?

RodKnock 01-18-2011 05:26 PM

I think that all black look is gorgeous.

That is one nice ass picture.....

Black car, black wheels, black quick jacks, black roll bar, black tires and black side pipes.

Oh yes, that's about as good as it gets.

'63 Comp cars used knock-offs like the front of the car. They were smaller and were made of steel vs. aluminum. The ears are shaped like fingers. Fran Kress has duplicated these. I am getting as set on Friday along with a set of his magnesium kidney bean wheels to replace my aluminum kidney beans.

Good to know, thanks Mike.

I see that car on a near daily basis considering it's sitting in our showroom. ;-)

CSX2136 ....Guardsman blue, FIA body?

OK, I know it's an old thread.
I was tidying up some old Cobra pictures and found some of a car described as "CSX2136", but the car was painted in what looked to be Guardsman Blue and it has an FIA body and a hardtop and appears to be participating in some form of historic racing.

I'm assuming this definitely isn't the real CSX2136 already described in this thread, so is this the Leicester car with the renumbered VIN CSX2136R ?

Cheers,
Glen

I'd even sell my 1982 GT, 73 Mach I, and 70 Boss 302" :rolleyes:Oh well, just another missed opportunity  ...........

What was the price then?
